“For a busy mom that wants to teach her kids about different cultures, this is a great resource. It was such a joy to cook Filipino food and read the stories with my kids! The video and books about the diversity in our world made learning fun and meaningful”
Beverly Ford, mom of 3, STEAM educational coach for the AIMS Center“I LOVE this idea of bringing a vacation into our home and being able to travel the world is even BETTER! Exploring different cultures and traditions through food, dance, games and books is much more fun than the same old movie and board game. As a teacher, I can see doing this as an activity in my classroom as well.”
Stefanie Lowe, kindergarten teacher and mother“Global Glory Chasers is the perfect combination of culinary adventure and family time! We love learning about different cultures and traveling, and this experience brings both straight to our table”

Take time to review the video and resources toward the beginning of the month. You might check out some of the books from your local library or bookstore, or purchase them with our links online.
Select a few dates or a certain day of the week when you and your family (or class) will explore with us. If you plan in advance, then you can use that time to enjoy the resources and learning together. Our family likes to make time on Saturday nights for the cooking and movie adventures. You can decide what works best for you and yours!
If you’re planning to make one or more of the recipes, carve out some time for grocery shopping as well as cooking. You might make it into a field trip!
Be sure to snap some photos and tag #globalglorychasers and @brownicity on social media! We would love to see how your family engages with these resources and “travel” around the world!
